equipment, there have been many software revisions since its release
& many products in circulation are using outdated software not
compatible with all the current HDMI features.
Plug
type
A has 19 contacts & is the connector used on all home
cinema equipment. Plug type B has 29
contacts & is used in the pro
& PC markets to carry multiple or higher resolution signals. Plug type C is a
miniature version of type A & is used in the camcorder market. Plug type D is an
even
smaller version of type A & is used on the portable video market.

practice, most HDMI-1.0 equipment did not support audio. SW
